Mason Mincey (Co-Founder & COO) B.A.S. Material Science: University of Central Florida

Worked closely with co-founder Derek in their initial startup and during their research at the University of Central Florida. Throughout his academic career, Mason secured numerous National Science Foundation grants and conducted pivotal research in nanomaterial processing for clean energy applications. His passion for material science and apparel was further developed at the Textile Exchange, where he played a key role in producing reports that guided major brands like Nike, Adidas, and Lululemon in transitioning their material portfolios towards sustainability. Mason was also a co-author of the Textile Exchange's influential "Future of Synthetics" report. Recognized for his achievements, he was named one of the "25 Under 25” and ESG Analytics “30 under 30”, highlighting his early impact and leadership in the field of sustainable materials and clean technology.
